These shoes are comfortable enough that I wore them for most of my weekend camping trip. We were in an area where there were lots of rocks and sand with twigs and leaves mixed in, but these shoes worked great. They hug your feet so nicely and are so light that you feel like you are barefoot without actually being barefoot. I am a mens size 9.5 or 10, depending on the shoe, so I bought the 9.5 and they fit perfectly. My toes were right at the end of the shoe, so if you think you are closer to a size 10 then go with that. In case you care, the color of the purple shoes is a dark Purple. I would definitely buy these shoes again and for the price I may buy another pair just in case.
